Even after sanding, I can't put them in the base of the figures... It didn't work for me. I needed them, though. They're not good for the figures in the first place. I also filed the length of the pins and their thickness. All of this was adjusted to the hole in the base of the figures. Still, they don't fit into the base of the figures.
