The iconic Evangelion Type-01 has been redesigned into a samurai armor variant action figure by Takashi Okazaki, the illustrator known for "Afro Samurai"!

While keeping to the unique proportions of the original design, the armor (restraints) of the Evangelion Type-01 has been boldly reimagined as traditional Japanese armor, condensing all its appeal into an action figure that is approximately 255mm in height.

The Great Sword "Magoroku" can be mounted to the right hip, with the blade fully painted to depict the wave patterns. Both the great sword and the two short swords in the shoulders can be drawn and sheathed, making the figure capable of action poses such as drawing the blade and double-handed sword stances, as well as the classic dynamic poses one would expect from an Evangelion figure.
